What knowhash reads

When you're on a LinkedIn profile page, knowhash reads that page — the name, headline, company and city visible on screen — to fill in the template you choose. It reads nothing else: no other tabs, no other sites, no LinkedIn pages other than the profile you're currently viewing.

What knowhash stores

• Your templates — the messages you write, saved in your browser's local storage.
• Your own details — the name/company/position you enter under "Your details," used to fill your own identity into templates.

All of it stays on your machine, in Chrome's own chrome.storage.local. There is no server. Nothing is uploaded, synced, or sent anywhere — not to us, not to LinkedIn, not to anyone.

What knowhash sends

Nothing. knowhash has no backend. It doesn't make network requests, doesn't phone home, doesn't have analytics or tracking of any kind.

What knowhash does not do

• Does not send messages or invites on your behalf — it only fills the compose box. You review and click Send yourself, every time.
• Does not store or transmit anyone else's personal data — profile details are read live, used once, and not retained.
• Does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, does not sell or share data, because there is no data leaving your browser to sell or share.

Uninstalling

Removing the extension deletes everything it stored — templates and your details — along with it. Nothing persists elsewhere, because nothing was ever sent elsewhere.
